|SUSAN GALICK FINE ART||
I belong to the Fort Langley Artist Group and we hold our art shows in the FLAGstop gallery located in this 100 year old Train Station. This year is it's 100 year old birthday!
My studio/gallery/home is located directly across the train track from this wonderful historic building. This is my second painting that I have done of this train station. The first one was purchased by new homeowners who purchased one of the new McBride townhomes designed after the Fort Langley Train Station. It is located at the corner of Mavis and Glover in beautiful Fort Langley.
Oil on canvas, unframed (edges painted)

This painting was sold to a customer in New York and was quite stressful to ship as it was framed in a white wooden frame. It took me 2 1/2 hours to box up and ship but thankfully all worked out.

About Susan Galick as written by Julie Cameron of Social Savvy Gals
Have you ever been captured by a painting and found yourself feeling instantly nostalgic and reminiscent? Fort Langley, British Columbia fine artist, Susan Galick is an impressionist artist who has just such talent and ability to transform you to the scenes of yesteryears.
Her picturesque paintings depict scenes of bistros, community halls, city streets, alley ways, historic gas stations, quintessential taxi cabs, tug boats, box crab boats, rainy scene bus stops, to farm animals and still lifes that bring you to those summers where you enjoyed the perfect lunch with friends, walked by the water with your sweetheart, or when you tasted the juiciest apple or perfectly sour lemon.
Galick is a beautiful woman who loves life, her family, and community, which she expresses with passion through her paintings. Her art is universal and her style reminiscent of impressionist master painters like Monet and Manet.
You can be assured that a Galick painting or two will be gracing the walls of my home in the near future. Hopefully yours will have this pleasure too.
Susan Galick original fine art - abstracts, contemporary impressionism, sea and city scapes, modern art in oils, acrylics and mixed media.
