I really enjoy painting character boats of the west coast. This one was parked near Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island.

While visiting Positano on the Amalfi Coast in Italy I shot a photo of this welcoming rowboat that greets visitors to this beautiful fishing village. The sign caught my eye as it read "Welcome in Positano" and not Welcome to Positano. Plus I love rowboats so I just had to paint it.
