"Half-Cocked"
Charcoal on 1 1/2" deep gallery wrapped canvas Framed or unframed 24" X 30" unframed - $725 framed in contemporary 'drop-in' frame - $890 I wanted to try something different as well as using a different medium. I am happy with the way the character of this rooster comes out in a dramatic black and white charcoal sketch. I put a soft oil glaze on the background then applied a fixative to protect the charcoal. To finish it off I framed it in a contemporary black drop-in frame.
