They originally purchased a painting of mine depicting a back alley of White Rock and it gracefully is displayed in their beautiful kitchen.
Recently a lovely couple from White Rock came into my gallery as they liked my loose style of painting and commissioned me to paint 2 paintings. This is the first of 2.........the original cabin that sat on their incredibly gorgeous view lot in White Rock overlooking the pier. I lived in White Rock and love this view. Their new contemporary home is amazing and this is the original cottage that sat on their lot. The next commission they want me to paint is a street scene of White Rock to decorate their living room wall in their amazing home. Quite the challenge and to be honest a little stressful for sure. Commissions are always stressful.

Hi Terry, I did a Google search on Manchester Cottage today just to see what might come up. To my surprise here is this beautiful painting which Susan Galick has captured so well. This was my beloved aunt and uncle Irvin & Sadie Prentice’s cottage where I spent many happy days over each summer growing up and as a young adult. So much history to this place. White Rock is such a special place that I miss dearly. You are definitely blessed to have found this very special location. Wishing you and your family all the best. Take care,
