While driving through the Tuscany countryside in Italy we came across this beautiful field of sunflowers. The sunflowers themselves had pretty much gone to seed leaving a vista of yellow with one lone sunflower still in bloom at the side of the road. Such beautiful country. We plan on going back one day when these sunflowers are still in bloom and the back ground fields are planted in grain crops. The fields at this time had been plowed under ready for the winter rains.
