Guy Anderson......known as the "Picasso of the Northwest" dies at 91. Thank you to Dave Cassera owner of 'Cassera Gallery" in LaConner for introducing me to the talents of one of the four 'Mystic Painters'.........Guy Anderson. Wow......what a special day to finally see Dave Cassera's galley in LaConner. I met Dave last year when he showed up at my gallery in Fort Langley. LaConner is similar to Fort Langley and I have so wanted to see his gallery since meeting him. We were certainly not disappointed. Not only were we surprised at the quality of the artwork but by also by the diversity and the fusion of ancient tribal art with modern abstract..........so well done. LOVE IT! Dave also has a gallery in New York and Gastown. I am so blessed to have met him. Here is a sampling of his offering which include the late Guy Anderson's abstract paintings. What a treat! Thank you Dave! Hope to see you in the Fort soon and congrats on the new baby boy. How exciting!
