I love crab boats and so enjoyed watching them come pick up their crab traps in front of the Beach Box. This one came so close that I could hear the fellows talk. At one point one of them looked at me taking the photos while standing on my deck. The fellow in the yellow rain pants ended up seeing it at South Shore Gallery in Sooke and purchased it. Jessie the owner said he was tickled to get it. I wish I had met him.

Crab boats in other countries are so expensive. I also love seeing these boats, mostly in the morning. I love the smell of the beach or ocean in the morning. I was once experienced being together with my uncle who drives the crab boat. AT first, I did not enjoy there but seeing what they have stash makes me feel the simplicity of life and happiness. What I really like about fishermen is their face full of happiness when they are satisfied with what they have got.
